Robbery in the Simferopol region. What did the court decide?
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In the Simferopol region, a court issued a decision in a criminal case against a previously convicted 30-year-old local resident. He was found guilty under Part 3 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery committed with illegal entry into a home).
It was established that in March 2022, a man entered the victim’s home, where the latter was lying on the sofa. The convict struck the victim several times in the face, after which he pulled him off the sofa by the legs and kicked him several more times in the chest area, causing rib fractures. Having taken the money lying on it from the table, the convict left the victim’s home— the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea reported details.
The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to 4 years and 6 months in prison. He will serve his sentence in a maximum security penal colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
