Roman Tokarev from Alushta — silver medalist of the Russian Youth Cup in Greco-Roman wrestling

Alushta resident Roman Tokarev (coach — Konstantin Mokridi) became the silver medalist of the XI Russian Cup in Greco-Roman wrestling among boys under 18 years of age in memory of the Olympic champion, Honored Master of Sports of the USSR A. I. Parfenov. The competitions on September 4-7 are held at the Krasnaya Gorka sports and recreation complex in Bor, Nizhny Novgorod region.
Roman Tokarev climbed to the podium in the weight category up to 80 kg. In the decisive battle, our fellow countryman, unfortunately, lost to Mikhail Shkarin, representing Moscow and the Lipetsk region. Roman Tokarev is included in the Russian youth (under 18) national teamsays «Crimean sport».
In total, 577 wrestlers from 51 regions of the country take part in the competition. 12 sets of awards are up for grabs.
