Rosmolodezh.Business: over 8,000 students will be able to upgrade their business skills in the Day with an Entrepreneur project

On June 6, registration for the project «A Day with an Entrepreneur» from Rosmolodezh.Business started. Its mission is to increase interest in entrepreneurial activity, awareness of the processes of creating and operating a business among young people in the regions of Russia. This year, 65 pilot entities will join the project, each of which will host four events: two for schoolchildren and two for students.

The “Day with an Entrepreneur” project is essentially a demonstration of the possibilities of starting a business in your native region. Each participant of the meeting with a real entrepreneur receives a real success story. And the format of the business game also allows you to upgrade the entrepreneurial skills of the audience. This year we plan to involve at least 8,400 participants, including schoolchildren from 14 years old, students of universities and colleges,” said Oleg Makarov, adviser to the head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). “It is important that after participating in the project, the guys will be able to join the “Business. Generation” from Rosmolodezh. Business, where they will package their idea, and then get into the “Investment Sessions”, where you can really get support and funding for your project. At least 30 guys will take part in each business game, in one hour they will need to go through all the steps of building a business in a particular area, the cases will be as close to real conditions as possible. The speakers of the project are members of the Young Entrepreneurs Club Rosmolodezh.Business. This year, a regional asset of the business community is being formed in each pilot region. Over 4.5 thousand young entrepreneurs from all over the country are already residents of the Club. Interestingly, the meetings of young entrepreneurs and project participants will be held at Points of Attraction, the best youth spaces in the country that have won the Rosmolodezh competition.

Also an important point of the project «A Day with an Entrepreneur» are excursions to the operating enterprises of the region. Last year, 148 similar events were held in 37 regions of the country.

Promoting the development of youth entrepreneurship is one of the directions of the department. In 2021, the All-Russian Program for the Development of Youth Entrepreneurship was launched. It includes not only the organization of service platforms that help expand the competencies of young entrepreneurs, but also provides an opportunity for all Russian citizens from 14 to 35 years old to join the entrepreneurial ecosystem, where every young person is provided with all the resources for development.
