Continuing the topic poisoned (and poisoned?) children in the Evpatoria camp “Youth”. Today the Interregional Department of Rospotrebnadzor announced the first results of the inspection.
The Interregional Department informs that based on the fact that information about cases of diseases of children in the children’s recreation center «Yunost», Evpatoria, Zaozernoye village was published in the mass media, the department immediately organized a visit of technical specialists in the city of Evpatoria, Saki district to the camp to assess the epidemiological situation and organize anti-epidemic (preventive) measuresthe message says.
Experts are still cautious. They say that the symptoms of the identified disease do not exclude an infectious disease.
Based on the identified cases, a sanitary and epidemiological investigation was launched, during which an examination of children was organized and samples were taken from environmental objects in the camp for laboratory research: water, food raw materials and finished products, swabs were taken from epidemically significant objects in the catering unit.
Based on the results of the examination of the children, a respiratory infection was established, bacteriological studies are ongoing. As a result of the investigation, violations of sanitary legislation were identified in the camp, and administrative proceedings were initiated.— reported in Rospotrebnadzor.
The condition of the children in the camp is satisfactory; travel of children to their place of residence has been organized. Work in the outbreak continues, the situation is under strict control of the Interregional Department of Rosporebnadzor.
