Rosprirodnadzor calculated the damage of the ecology caused by the crash of tankers in the Black Sea

The Federal Service for Supervision of Environmental Management has been a requirement to compensate for damage caused to components of the environment as a result of the collapse of tankers with oil products in the Kerch Strait in December 2024.
The total amount of the requirements submitted to companies was 84 943 948 679 rubles. The amount of the calculated harm in relation to the owner of the Volgonft-212 tanker-Kama Shipping LLC-compiled 49 460 085 849 rubles. In relation to Volgatransneft CJSC, which is the owner of the Volgonft-239 tanker, the amount of harm caused to the Black Sea 35 483 862 830 rubles.
Companies that have been made requirements have 1 month for voluntary compensation for harm. After this period, the claims will be sent to the court.
