Rostec presents a new device to support the breathing of newborns
CrimeaPRESS reports:
At the annual international exhibition INNOPROM-2023 in Yekaterinburg, holdings of the Rostec State Corporation demonstrate the latest samples of civilian products, including developments created in the interests of Russian medicine. Among other things, modular ozonizers for air disinfection, respiratory support devices for newborns and an automated complex based on a stereoscopic microscope are exhibited for the first time at the Corporation’s joint stand.
At the joint stand of Rostec, the Shvabe holding presents a new device that can be used to perform non-invasive respiratory therapy, as well as short-term invasive and non-invasive ventilation of the lungs in the smallest patients. The principle of operation of the device is based on CPAP therapy, a unique method for correcting pauses in breathing during sleep. The method consists in creating a constant positive pressure in the airways of infants. The device was developed taking into account the wishes of the staff of resuscitation and intensive care units of maternity hospitals and perinatal centers.
Another novelty from Shvabe is an automated complex based on the MBS-10M microscope. It is equipped with a stereoscopic documentation system, an image analyzer, 3D displays and VR glasses. The device allows you to study objects in three-dimensional projection and can be used to control the quality of materials, analyze the accuracy of manufacturing parts, study complex and three-dimensional structures.
For INNOPROM Corporation enterprises, this is a good opportunity to demonstrate what we have achieved over the past year, what ideas we have implemented, what new products we have created. This year, at the joint stand of Rostec, we are presenting several new products at once, including for Russian doctors — air ozonizers, neonatal equipment, immunoglobulin preparations created in Russia according to the full production cycle. These are high-quality developments that have passed the full range of necessary tests. They have already received state registration and are ready for serial production in the interests of national healthcare.— said Oleg Yevtushenko, Executive Director of Rostec.
Concern Radioelectronic Technologies of Rostec (JSC KRET) for the first time shows a new environmental monitoring system for indoor air at the exhibition. The development allows you to monitor the purity of the air around the clock, determines, among other things, the presence of gamma radiation, establishes the source of harmful emissions, and initiates a notification mode and emergency warnings.
Engineers of JSC KRET brought to Yekaterinburg one more premiere — a closed-type modular flow-through air ozonizer. The configuration of the device can be changed depending on the size of the room — the device can be equipped with one or two ozonizer cartridges. This allows you to more accurately optimize the device for customer requirements.
The annual INNOPROM exhibition takes place from 10 to 13 July at the International Exhibition Center «Ekaterinburg-Espo». The organizers of the event are the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region.
