Rostec State Corporation will take part in the development of the healthcare system of the Republic of Crimea

On October 7, 2024, the Rostec State Corporation and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea signed an Agreement on cooperation in the field of healthcare. The document is aimed at increasing the life expectancy and quality of life of the republic’s residents. The signing ceremony of the document took place within the framework of the First International Forum “Bioindustry: Industry and Technologies for Humans”.
The agreement was signed by the General Director of RT Medical Technologies Sergei Dmitrochenko and the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya. The document provides for long-term cooperation in the field of healthcare. The parties agreed to supply medical equipment to the Republic of Crimea and introduce advanced medical solutions into medical institutions aimed at improving the health of residents of the peninsula.
The signing of the Agreement is an important step for the development of healthcare in our region. By joining forces with partners, we set ourselves the task of not only improving the current state of medical services, but also setting a new quality standard. The introduction of domestic innovations into medical practice will allow us to quickly respond to the challenges and needs of the time,” the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
Under the conditions of sanctions restrictions, Rostec enterprises are working on import substitution, creating their own technologies and products, ensuring the country’s independence in the field of healthcare technologies. Today the Corporation has 150 types of medical equipment. Rostec medical equipment is widely used in medical practice by medical institutions both in Russia and neighboring countries. We are confident that our cooperation with the Republic of Crimea will enable its residents to receive medical services at a higher quality level,” said Sergei Dmitrochenko, General Director of RT-Medical Technologies.

The company plays the role of an integrator of support measures into federal and regional healthcare development programs. Priority areas of activity are the development and production of high-tech medical equipment, promotion and sale of medical products.
