Russia intends to build 10 thousand km of toll roads

The program has been roughly prepared; the construction of 10 thousand km of toll roads is envisaged. However, this will be possible when the key rate is at least below 10%said the Deputy Prime Minister.

All possible financing mechanisms will be calculated — and compensation for interest rates on loans; it is possible to issue special infrastructure, cheaper bonds under government guarantees.

The idea of ​​building toll roads in itself is very correct, emphasized Marat Khusnullin. When money is simply irrevocably allocated from the budget, they stop counting it and stop saving it. And the construction of toll roads makes you count money.

We also need to work to reduce construction costs, Khusnullin noted.

When you can build an interchange for 2 billion rubles, but they start to accelerate it to 4-5 billion — how can it be repaid later?— he said.
