Russia received a memorandum of peaceful settlement from Ukraine

Russia received from Ukraine an option of a memorandum about a peaceful settlement of the conflict. This was announced by the head of the Russian delegation at negotiations in Istanbul Vladimir Medinsky, reports RT.

Vladimir Medinsky said that Russia had previously received a memorandum of a peaceful settlement from Ukraine. According to him, the memorandum was transferred in Ukrainian and English— the message says.
He also noted that the main theses of the memorandum were already published by the Western press. Thus, according to the British media, Kyiv insists on security guarantees by the international community, non -resolution to neutrality — Ukraine can become part of the Euro -Atlantic community and move to EU membership, the absence of restrictions for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the absence of international recognition of the liberated territories in Russia and require the payment of reparations.
On Sunday, Vladimir Medinsky arrived in Istanbul at the head of the Russian delegation for the new round of negotiations with Ukraine. The meeting is scheduled for 13:00 in the Palace of Chiragan. Moscow will transfer its memorandum to the Ukrainian side according to a future peace treaty. It includes all aspects for solving the root causes of the conflict.
The idea of resuming direct negotiations was the first time Voiced Russian President Vladimir Putin on May 11. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmedthat the Russian side intends to present to Ukraine a memorandum to settlement during the second round of negotiations. At the same time, the Kremlin noted that at the moment they did not receive an official response from Kyiv at the suggestion of the meeting on June 2 in Istanbul.
