Russia will actively develop digital platforms
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The key focus of the new national project «Data Economy» will be on the development of digital platforms, reports TASS.
The focus of the new national project “Data Economy” will be on digital platforms, the goal of which is to develop the economy of individual industries and regions. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko reported this:
The National Data Economy Project is a cross-cutting project that affects all areas of the economy and concerns the activities and tasks of all departments. In particular, much attention will be paid to the development of digital platforms for the development of the economy of individual industries, regions and cities.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, in general, the activities of the new national project are aimed at solving issues that society needs right now. This includes the development of fast and inexpensive Internet, as well as strategic digital development projects that are necessary to achieve Russia’s digital leadership.
What is important is that they will strengthen the sustainability of the entire country’s economy in the long term.he notes.
The new national project «Data Economy» is a logical continuation of the national project «Digital Economy», noted Anton Nemkin, member of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications.
The project is planned for the period 2025–2030 and involves the large-scale introduction of artificial intelligence, numbers and analytics in almost all areas: education, medicine, security, industry and housing and communal services, as well as transport and information technology itself. The announced measures will increase Russia’s GDP by 11.2 trillion rubles by 2030notes the deputy.
Nemkin noted that the implementation of the stated goals will be achieved through the widespread introduction of digital platforms.
Digital platforms aggregate data, significantly facilitating interdepartmental interaction and increasing the speed of data exchange. In addition, it is a powerful analytical tool, since it involves the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies. The development of digital platforms will have a positive impact on increasing the efficiency of management decisions and forecastingsays the parliamentarian.
Currently, there are more than 800 government information systems in Russia, with which citizens interact daily, sometimes without even noticing it, Nemkin said.
Since 2021, we have been running an experiment on GosTech. This is a cloud platform solution for all levels of government, with which you can quickly and efficiently develop government digital services and systems using imported components. The key operating principle of GosTech is the policy of reusing solutions. Now regions do not need to create their own custom service — they can take a ready-made product and customize it for themselves. This, of course, has a positive effect on the effective distribution of budget funds,” he noted.
According to Nemkin, it is important to introduce digital platforms not only at the federal and regional levels, but also at the local level.
Over the past five years, the IQ index of Russian cities has grown by 40%, and the share of cities with a favorable environment in 2023 has grown to 68%. Active implementation of digital platforms will significantly increase the share of “smart” cities in Russia, especially in the context of the transport sector and housing and communal servicesthe parliamentarian emphasizes.
