A unique online service has appeared in Russia SkinAdvisor, which helps you choose the optimal cosmetic products and personalize facial skin care. The project was developed under the guidance of an experienced dermatovenerologist Valeria Moiseeva.
The platform provides detailed reviews of more than 230 popular cosmetic brands — from inexpensive to premium. A convenient filter system has been implemented by skin type and condition, as well as a search for specific ingredients. This allows you to quickly select the optimal care products. All materials are based on an objective analysis of the composition and are written taking into account the physiology of the skin. The site is regularly updated with new reviews online.
A distinctive feature of SkinAdvisor is the “Compatibility of Products” section. It allows you to check how well different products from a selected set combine. This is important, as using incompatible products can cause skin irritation and inflammation.
According to Valeria Moiseeva, the recommendations are based only on a scientific approach:
We are not against the use of chemical components in cosmetics if they are safe and effective. Our task is to objectively analyze the composition and help select effective means.
The idea for the startup arose in 2016, when Valeria was studying cosmetic chemistry. She began to study in detail the ingredients of popular products and realized that many of them were ineffective, and some were even harmful. Then the first reviews of cosmetics appeared on her blog. To systematize the material, the idea was born to create the SkinAdvisor platform.
Today it is a full-fledged online service with reviews of 2,400 products, personalized selection and compatibility checking. Already more than 100,000 people choose cosmetics using SkinAdvisor. The platform continues to develop and helps you make the right choice based only on scientific and medical data.
