Russian Foreign Ministry: Kyiv attacked Sevastopol in coordination with the USA and Britain

Ukraine carried out the attack on Sevastopol on September 22 in close coordination with American and British intelligence agencies. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

On September 22, Sevastopol was again under attack; there is not the slightest doubt that this attack was pre-planned using Western intelligence assets, NATO satellite equipment, reconnaissance aircraft and was carried out at the suggestion and in close coordination with the American and British intelligence services“, Zakharova said during the briefing.

According to her, the obvious goal of such terrorist acts is to divert attention from the failed attempts of a counter-offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and to intimidate people, “to sow panic in our society,” Zakharova indicated, emphasizing that these goals will not be achieved.

On September 22, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced a missile strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the fleet headquarters in Sevastopol. As a result, one soldier went missing and the building itself was damaged.
