Russian grandmaster Dmitry Kryakvin now represents Crimea

The well-known Russian grandmaster Dmitry Kryakvin, the winner and prize-winner of a number of major international tournaments, a participant in the World and European Championships as part of the Russian team, has been representing Crimea at all-Russian competitions since this 2022 year. As a newly minted Crimean, Dmitry Kryakvin has already managed to take part in the tournament in memory of the first president of the Chelyabinsk Regional Chess Federation Mikhail Lozovatsky (passed from 21 to 31 January in Chelyabinsk). Many well-known grandmasters came to the start of the competition, in total — 64 athletes from 11 countries. Competitions were held in 10 rounds. Four chess players at once (including Dmitry Kryakvin) scored 7 points each. According to additional indicators, the winner was Sergey Drygalov from the Kurgan region.
