“Russian sturgeon” completely failed the Crimean citizen
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In the Leninsky district of Crimea, a verdict was passed in a criminal case for the illegal acquisition and storage of sturgeon fish. Please note that the answer was not even a fisherman-poacher, but a “buyer”, either a lover of expensive fish, or a “outsider”.
The court found that the defendant illegally purchased and stored in a garage on the property the carcasses of Russian Sturgeon fish with a total weight of more than 11 kg, belonging to a particularly valuable species. According to the expert’s opinion, the specified fish grew up in its natural habitat— reported the prosecutor’s office.
The man’s criminal activity was stopped by officers of the Border Department of the FSB of Russia in the Republic of Crimea.
Taking into account the position of the state prosecution, the convicted person was sentenced to 1 year of correctional labor, with a penalty of 5% to the state income. The verdict came into force.
