As part of the celebration of the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation, 6 rescuers of the Yalta emergency rescue squad of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «KRYM-SPAS», together with members of the regional branch of OOO «ROSSOYUZSPAS» of the Republic of Crimea and employees of the Yalta mountain-forest reserve, climbed to the top of Mount Ai-Petri and installed the Russian tricolor at an altitude of 1234 m above sea level.
This is the 10th time that rescuers have been holding this event. In this way, the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea congratulate everyone on the holiday and express their respect for the state symbols and sincere pride for their native country. According to rescuers, this holiday awakens patriotic feelings in people and once again reminds us all how important it is to be united and strong in spirit in the conditions of a special military operation.— the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Crimea noted.
Let us recall that the holiday was established on the basis of Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 1714 of August 20, 1994 “On the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation”.
