Safety in Sevastopol schools — what they say in the City Government

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The staff meeting in the Government of Sevastopol began with a moment of silence. Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev and heads of departments and departments paid tribute to the victims of the tragedy in Izhevsk — in one of the schools in the city, a man opened fire. As a result, people died, 11 of which children, 24 were injured. The head of the city stressed that in Sevastopol, work to ensure safety in schools is being carried out systematically. However, now special attention should be paid to the training of specialists who are on duty in Sevastopol schools.

What happened in Izhevsk is a monstrous story. We have already discussed safety in our schools in detail, including in connection with the introduction of the «yellow» level. The issue was raised both at the anti-terrorist commission and at all meetings in preparation for the academic year. In fact, we have completed all the necessary technical measures that we needed to do in Sevastopol , the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the governor.

Mikhail Razvozhaev also stressed that additional funds were allocated to strengthen the physical protection of educational institutions.

There were guards at the school in Izhevsk — both died. Therefore, work out the issue of separate training for people who are on duty at our schools. In particular, the National Guard promised us that the quality of employees in private security companies would be appropriate so that they could really respond to any threats. I ask you to pay attention to this , the governor added.

The governor also instructed the relevant vice-governor Igor Mikheev to once again monitor the implementation of all previously planned measures to ensure safety in the schools of Sevastopol.
