Saki therapeutic mud use more than 100 sanatoriums of the Russian Federation in the work

Krympress reports:

Over 100 Russian sanatoriums use Saki therapeutic mud, said the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea Sergey Hanziy.

More than 100 sanatoriums of the Russian Federation use Saxic mud, rap (salt solution of a high degree of mineralization — approx. TASS) and mineral water. Health restoration technologies using Saki mud are impressive in effectiveness, -He told reporters during the press tour «Blave in the Crimea.»

Hanziy noted the uniqueness of Saki mud, recalling that in composition it «surpasses the salt of the Dead Sea.» Pointing to the need to preserve the unique Saksky Lake.

If work was not carried out to preserve the lake, we would have lost this source for a long time. The development of unique natural resources is carried out by the Crimean hydrogeological regime-operating station, which controls a rather complex system in terms of constant regulation of the level of the rapier. In 2026, we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the enterprise, which throughout this time practically did not stop the work— said the minister.

He also noted that the Crimean GGRES mines and supplies the healing Sakski mud to most regions of Russia and to the Republic of Belarus.

On the territory of the city district of Saki in the Crimea, there is a therapeutic Sakskoye Lake, which includes the western and eastern pools of the deposits of therapeutic mud and rap. In 1807, the French scientist chemist Felix de Serra analyzed the Saki mud, this moment is considered the start of the development of the resorts of Crimea. In 1926, to study and preserve the therapeutic lake, a Saka hydrogeological regime-operational station (GGRES) was created, whose sphere of activity includes not only rational operation and preservation of a unique deposit of healing mud, but also the study of other balnean ecosystems of the country.
