Saturday will not be boring — welcome to the “Ai-Petri Fest”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On Saturday, September 30, a holiday called “Ai-Petri Fest” will be held at the border of Mount Ai-Petri. The first environmental education festival will be dedicated to World Tourism Day and respect for nature.
According to Tourist portal of Crimea, guests will be treated to an exhibition-fair with master classes on folk crafts — ceramics, forging, tanning, wood carving, and making products from natural materials. Special environmental master classes for children and adults are also expected: customizing or transforming old bags, recycling plastic with a bicycle shredder.
Lovers of fine art will be able to take part in the Ai-Petri plein air, and fans of outdoor activities can take a guided tour along the route “To the Teeth of Ai-Petri” or visit the Yalta Cave, which is famous for its rich sinter decoration and a small lake with drinking water.
At the same time, there will be nature reserve stations with an environmental and educational theme — with games, tasks, interesting facts about animals, and souvenirs from the reserve. The cover band “Kuraga” is responsible for the musical design of the festival. And to ensure that tourists are not only happy, but also well-fed, they will be offered a snack at the food courts.
All festival events, including excursions, will be free. The stated time is from 11:00 to 18:00.
The festival will take place on the cordon of the plateau of Mount Ai-Petri. Finding the venue is not difficult: you need to drive onto the plateau along a public road and after 500 m turn right behind the cafe. Coordinates: 44.47326, 34.06775.
IMPORTANT! You do not need a pass to visit the festival. Everyone entering Ai-Petri will be given free tickets, which will allow free access to both the event and the excursion to the Yalta Cave. Tickets will be distributed in three places: at the cordon, at the ticket office at the Uchan-Su waterfall and at the ticket office at the Ai-Petri battlements.
