Saved a comrade… at the cost of his life. A heroic warrior was seen off on his last journey in Sevastopol

Today in Sevastopol they said goodbye to Private Sergei Simchishin — a real hero who died while saving a comrade in arms.

Sergei Sergeevich Simchishin was born and raised in Sevastopol. He graduated from secondary school No. 54, then from the Sevastopol branch of Moscow State University with a degree in psychology. He worked at public catering establishments in the city. He was fond of books, read a lot, was a patriot of Sevastopol and Russia.

In the fall of 2023, he signed a contract with the Russian Armed Forces and, after training, was sent to the CBO area. Sergei Sergeevich Simchishin died heroically, saving his comrade, near the village of Terny, Kramatorsk district of the DPRsaid Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
