Saved my mother and helped detain a dangerous criminal. A young hero was awarded in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The young hero from the Razdolnensky district of Crimea, Zhenya Levchuk, was congratulated on the New Year by officers of the Investigative Committee and thanked for his assistance to law enforcement agencies and society.
On January 11, the schoolboy will celebrate his ninth birthday, but any adult can envy this young man’s fearlessness. In September, the boy discovered how an attacker had attacked his mother in their home, and his three-year-old sister was also there alone with the dangerous criminal. The brave schoolboy, without being confused, quickly called for help, and provided the arriving police officers and the Investigative Committee with important information, which in the shortest possible time made it possible to detain the suspect red-handed— the Sledkom gave details.
Moreover, Zhenya contributed to organizing a productive inspection of the crime scene and recording traces, which certainly helped the investigator to successfully investigate the criminal case and send it to court. But the main thing is that his courageous and prompt actions helped the doctors provide timely medical care to the mother, who suffered at the hands of the attacker, using air ambulance forces, and helped the authorities isolate the dangerous criminal from society.
The head of the Main Investigation Department, Vladimir Terentyev, ordered Yevgeny Levchuk to be nominated for a departmental award for his courage and determination shown by a schoolboy in detaining a dangerous criminal. The officers of the Investigative Committee of Russia thanked Zhenya for her courage and wished to remain an example of goodness, justice and courage to those around her.
