SBU mercenaries, the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Sevastopol, which killed a Black Sea Fleet officer, were detained

FSB operatives detained two Russian citizens — a 47-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman who committed a terrorist attack against Black Sea Fleet officer Valery Trankovsky in Sevastopol. This was reported by the Public Relations Center (PSC) of the FSB of Russia and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
On the territory of the Republic of Crimea, two Russian citizens were detained who, on November 13 of this year in Sevastopol, on instructions from the Security Service of Ukraine, blew up a car under the control of the chief of staff — first deputy commander of the Azov naval region of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, captain 1st rank Trankovsky Valery Nikolaevich, who received injuries incompatible with life— reported the FSB Central Operations Center.

So, it turns out that a 38-year-old resident of Sevastopol was following Valery Trankovsky and writing down the addresses he often visited. Her accomplice, a 47-year-old resident of Yalta, made explosives, attached them to the bottom of the car and detonated them.
The SBU recruited the suspect last summer. The organization and planning were carried out by SBU Colonel Yuri Murilev and SBU Deputy Chairman Major General Alexander Poklad. In the garage of the alleged terrorist, they found a ready-made IED containing 1.2 kg of explosives in TNT equivalent. He was sent to a pre-trial detention center for two months.
The investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol continue to investigate a criminal case regarding the commission of a terrorist act and illegal trafficking in explosives (clause “b”, part 3 of article 205, part 1 of article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)— reported the Investigative Committee. — The defendants cooperate with law enforcement agencies and give confessions. Currently, together with the special services, the maximum possible range of persons involved in the commission of this crime is being worked out.
