Schoolboy from Crimea reaches final of All-Russian lecturers competition

5,250 teenagers from all regions of Russia took part in the selection, including 43 from the Republic of Crimea. Now the kids will go to study public speaking at the International Children’s Center «Artek» and get a chance to become a lecturer for the «Knowledge» Society. The most popular topics among young lecturers across the country were: «Culture and Art» — more than 900 applications, «Media, Communications and Digital Literacy» — more than 890 and «History and Preservation of Historical Memory» 783 applications. Lectures are given by graduates of art and music schools, activists of school media centers, tour guides and local historians. Every fifth participant in the «Schoolchildren» nomination is from new regions.

The school final will be held in the profile shift Znanie.Lektor in the International Children’s Center «Artek» from September 25 to October 16. 175 schoolchildren from 54 regions will go there, who have passed five stages of selection, including interviews with the winners of previous seasons of Znanie.Lektor, and now — lecturers of the Russian Society «Znanie», federal experts.

Before the shift begins, finalists will have the opportunity to give a lecture in their region with the support of the Knowledge Society and increase their chances of winning the competition. Participants can also receive partner prizes by completing tasks from the service «Another thing».
