Schoolchildren of Sevastopol test their knowledge at the «Legal brain-ring»

On the basis of the Minor Academy of Sciences, the first stage of the semi-finals of the regional competition «Legal Brain-Ring» among schoolchildren of Sevastopol took place. The game was attended by teams of educational institutions of the Leninsky district of the city. Participants of the brain ring were asked questions about knowledge of the legislation, the Constitution of the Russian Federation, as well as types of legal liability and punishment for offenses. Schoolchildren’s knowledge was tested in six rounds.
Every citizen of the Russian Federation should know his rights and obligations, because only having legal knowledge, a person will be able to fully go through life. We are glad that a large number of schoolchildren are actively studying the subject «Law» and showing good results in various competitions , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the Minor Academy of Sciences Sergey Pasein.
The first place team will advance to the final , where four teams will compete for the title of the main expert in law — one from each district of the city. The next stage of the semi-finals will take place on October, it will host participation of educational institutions of the Gagarinsky district of Sevastopol.
Being legally literate and knowing the laws is very important in order to be able to defend your interests and rights. Regardless of whether I choose the profession of a lawyer in the future or not, knowledge in the legal field is very useful and will be useful in the future , — says a student of gymnasium No. 7 Maxim.
Recall that the competition was organized by the Prosecutor’s Office of Sevastopol, the Minor Academy of Sciences and the Altair Center for Revealing and Supporting Gifted Children.
