Self-medication is dangerous to health. 27-year-old Crimean woman “healed” her husband to death

In the Razdolnensky district, a local resident was convicted of causing the death of her husband through negligence. During the trial, it was established that a 27-year-old Crimean woman, without special knowledge in the field of medicine, without having read the instructions for use of the medicine “Magnesium sulfate”, in order to improve the health of her husband, repeatedly used it invasively at the request of her husband

As a result of the defendant’s careless and negligent actions in administering injections, her husband experienced a sharp deterioration in his health, and therefore the latter was hospitalized in a health care facility, where, despite resuscitation measures, his death occurred— said the prosecutor’s office.

The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the local resident to 3 months of correctional labor with the deduction of 5% of her monthly salary to the state. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
