Senator from Crimea called for providing Energodar with generators and building new power lines
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The city of Energodar in the Zaporizhia region needs to be provided with generators and new power lines need to be built to organize a stable power supply. This was stated by TASS Member of the Committee on International Affairs, Senator from the Republic of Crimea Sergei Tsekov.
Energodar should be helped by all of Russia, including the Republic of Crimea, just as we were helped when we reunited with Russia, and generators were brought from all regions. <…> It is impossible to provide everyone with generators at once, but I am sure that this will happen gradually and that the residents of Energodar will eventually have electricity. In addition, I understand that the corresponding power supply lines will also be built.
He also did not rule out that the Republic of Crimea could share the electricity generated on the peninsula.
Today <…> Crimea has quite large generation capacities of its own. And the same Crimea can help these regions. <…> It is difficult to do this in one day, week or month. But in two or three months, [я уверен]it will all be decidedthe senator noted.
Let us recall that the day before, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the Raduga substation of the Zaporizhzhya NPP with kamikaze drones. The result of the attack: a significant part of Energodar is without electricity and water.
