“Separation from the masses and inevitable fall”… An absurd but dangerous incident in Yalta
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Employees of the Yalta emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» provided assistance to a man who fell from a retaining wall into the bed of the Vodopadnaya River. As rescuers clarified, the call was received the day before (at 15:50). Joking aside, such a fall could cost the victim his life — the height to the shallow bed of the city river is 5-6 meters.
The task for the KRYM-SPAS fighters was simple: to pull the man out of a hard-to-reach place to an ambulance. And as quickly as possible.
Upon arrival, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Crimea, using a three-legged ladder and climbing equipment, lifted the victim from the river bed and transported him to an ambulance for further hospitalization— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
The condition of the victim, as well as the reasons that forced him to “dive” from a height, are not reported.
