September 5 is International Day of Charity. What does the one who helps others get?
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On September 5, on the International Day of Charity, the Gulfstream Foundation launches a campaign, everyone who makes a donation in September 2023 will receive a postcard drawn by the wards of the Gulfstream Foundation. Let’s try to figure out what each person personally gets when you help those who need help.
Feeling of happiness and satisfaction
When we see that our help affects the life of another person, it brings us joy and satisfaction. It also increases our value, — the fund’s psychologists are convinced of this.
Developing Empathy and Compassion
By helping other people, we become more receptive to other people’s suffering and understand that we have a real opportunity to improve a person’s life. It makes us bigger in our own eyes and for society too.
Boosting self-esteem and confidence
Our self-esteem grows and self-confidence becomes a constant when we help others. We understand that we are able to do good and improve the quality of life of another person who previously believed that no one cares how he lives and what he thinks. In turn, this strengthens our faith in ourselves.
Expanding social connections
Helping other people can become a thread in new acquaintances, expanding the circle of friends. We can meet our like-minded, caring people who share our desire to help and have common values with ours.
Better life for each of us
You probably never thought about it, but by doing good, we help not only one specific person, but also many people around: ourselves, who need help, his relatives, a charitable foundation that takes care of organizational issues, negotiates with doctors … How the water cycle in nature, our good deeds, like rain, sprinkle everyone around with their drops. And our good deeds become an example to follow.
Helping others is not only an act of kindness, but also a source of personal growth and satisfaction. Being involved in charity allows us to experience the happiness and joy that we can make other people’s lives better.
Charitable Foundation «Gulfstream»

One of the main tasks of the foundation is to promote the topic of socialization of people with disabilities, the development of inclusion through educational activities. The main mission is to work so that people with special needs can feel needed and useful in all spheres of life.
