Sergei Aksenov does not see the risks of fuel shortages and rising prices in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The authorities of the Republic of Crimea are monitoring the fuel situation in the region; there are no risks of shortages or price increases, the head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov, told reporters:
So far there are no risks of either a shortage or a rise in fuel prices. Everyone operates within the framework of the agreement, we carry out control systematically.
Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on September 27, 2023, reported that the government was working on several new systemic measures in the fuel market. In early October, the head of Crimea reported that a liter of diesel fuel on the peninsula costs 72-73 rubles, and 95 and 92 gasoline cost up to 65 and 58 rubles per liter, respectively, which is higher than in neighboring regions.
In October 2023, Aksenov reported that the government of the Republic of Crimea had come to an agreement with the largest fuel suppliers to the peninsula to reduce prices for fuel and lubricants.
