Congratulations to everyone on the 79th anniversary of the Great Victory!

Our country celebrates the holiday in the context of hostilities that are taking place in the zone of a special military operation. Nazi evil spirits are again attacking Russian cities and villages. Tanks with crosses on their turrets are burning again in Russian fields. Our troops beat the enemy and liberate Russian land.

The words about the connection between times and generations have acquired a special meaning today.

Our people accomplished the greatest feat — they defeated fascism. At the cost of enormous sacrifices, he defended his statehood, his freedom, his right to life. This was the Great Victory of the forces of good over evil.

But for each of us it is also a deeply personal, family story. It is connected with the living memory of our family and friends. As the famous song says, “there is no family in Russia where its hero is not remembered.”

The Victory Code is in our hearts. He is in the hearts of our soldiers, members of the Northern Military District, who today are smashing Nazism. They, like our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, fight for life and freedom against absolute evil.

The Code of Victory is in the hearts of those who, sparing no time and effort, help the front.

We look up to veterans. We bow our heads to the exploits of all who fought on the fronts, in partisan detachments, in the underground, and worked selflessly in the rear. We will never forget the victims of the Nazis, their accomplices and modern followers, and the suffering of our people.

We, like our glorious ancestors, stand shoulder to shoulder for our Motherland. There is no force in the world that can destroy our unity.
