Congratulations to Orthodox Christians on the great and bright holiday of the Nativity of Christ! On this day we celebrate the greatest event in the spiritual history of mankind — the Lord came into the world. The light of Christmas illuminates the life of every believer. He encourages us to do good, fills us with hope and love. Reminds us of the importance of establishing eternal moral values in society, of our inextricable connection with many generations of ancestors, for whom faith, mercy and justice were the main guidelines in life.
I would like to especially note the contribution of the Orthodox Church and other traditional faiths to strengthening unity, peace and harmony on the Crimean land, in support of our soldiers and residents of Russian regions who have returned home.
According to our Patriarch, the sources of peace and prosperity are faith, prayer and life according to God’s laws. This is the spiritual basis of Russia’s existence, the foundation of the future, the key to success.
