Sergei Aksyonov awarded employees of the FSB Directorate for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol

The Head of the Republic of Crimea took part in a gala event on the occasion of the Day of the Security Service Worker of the Russian Federation, which took place at the State Academic Musical Theater of the Republic of Crimea. According to Sergei Aksenov, the security agencies employ real professionals, thanks to whom our country and our citizens are reliably protected from external and internal threats.

The security of Crimea is ensured at a high level. This is the result of teamwork, fortitude, patriotism, professionalism of security officers and a high level of interaction with authorities and other law enforcement agencies– the press service quotes the Head of Crimea.

Sergei Aksyonov thanked the head of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Republic of Crimea, Leonid Mikhailyuk, for his competent and effective leadership management.

The event was attended by the head of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea Leonid Mikhailyuk, the Honorary Consul of Nicaragua in the Republic of Crimea Hero of Russia Oleg Belaventsev, the Minister of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea Major General of Police Igor Illarionov, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Efim Fiks, other.

REFERENCE. The Day of the Security Authorities of the Russian Federation — a professional holiday for employees of the FSB, SVR, FSO — is celebrated annually on December 20. The date of the holiday was chosen due to the fact that on this day in 1917, the Council of People’s Commissars of the RSFSR issued a Decree on the formation of the All-Russian Extraordinary Commission (VChK) to combat counter-revolution and sabotage under the Council of People’s Commissars of the RSFSR (the predecessor of modern security agencies).
