Sergei Aksyonov commented on the refusal of private Crimean clinics to perform abortions
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, noted that the decision of private Crimean clinics to refuse to perform abortions is an important public initiative that was put forward without the participation of the authorities. Will there be any decisions at the federal level?
My personal position: if there are no serious contraindications, then there is no need to have an abortion. In turn, we do not intend to ban abortions or limit personal freedoms in any way. It is necessary to form a public position, ensure organizational issues in medical institutions, and work with both doctors and patientssaid the Head of Crimea.
According to Sergei Aksenov, in each case an individual approach is needed, it is necessary to seek a balance. Including giving appropriate social advertising, showing that abortion is unacceptable for moral reasons, that it is harmful to both the woman’s body and society.
The population must grow, without this it is impossible to strengthen and develop such a huge country as Russiathe Head of Crimea emphasized.
