Sergei Aksyonov met with representatives of the ethnic and cultural communities of Crimea

The head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov met with representatives of the national and cultural communities of Crimea.

Interethnic harmony and unity move us forward, so it is so important to do everything necessary for this. The main result to be strived for is peace and respect for each other among people of different nationalities who live on the territory of the Republic of Crimea— said the Head of the Republic.

At the meeting, issues of the activities of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Crimea “House of Friendship of Peoples”, the prospects for the work of national editorial offices in the Crimean media were discussed.

The event was attended by Acting Minister of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of the Republic of Crimea Albert Kurshutov, Head of the German National Cultural Autonomy of Crimea Yuri Gempel, Chairman of the National Cultural Autonomy of the Greeks of the Republic of Crimea Ivan Shonus.
