Sergei Aksyonov met with the leaders of the Crimean student government
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, met with the leaders of student self-government of a number of secondary educational institutions of the Republic of Crimea.
In the format of an open dialogue, the children were able to ask questions that were relevant to themselves personally and to their schools. The event was attended by representatives of educational institutions from the cities of Evpatoria, Simferopol, Sudak, Yalta, as well as from Simferopol and Dzhankoy districts.
Welcoming young Crimeans, Sergei Aksyonov urged them to be bolder and more active, and not be afraid to voice their thoughts and suggestions. According to the Head of Crimea, it is important for the authorities of the republic to build a direct line of communication with student self-government.
You are clear-headed and free-thinking. In 5-6 years, you will already be able to take responsibility for the people around you. Your young age will only play into your hands, since you will work more productively and make decisions quickly. I am sure that the future belongs to you, you will have to work in a variety of fields and industries, including in government, so do not be afraid of anything and only move forwardsaid the Head of Crimea.
According to the Head of the Republic, today it is necessary to be able to work in a team.
The time for loners is over. All assigned tasks can only be completed together. In this sense, I am pleased with your initiative and desire to change something. Discuss with your mentors and school councils ideas and options for strengthening the role of student self-government in Crimea, creating new educational programs, including financial literacy, teaching the basics of business, and others. We need to come up with a practical project, participation in which will help young people evaluate their abilities and self-realization in the future“, — suggested the Head of Crimea, promising the guys to hold a new meeting in the near future, during which their proposals will be considered.
In turn, school presidents noted that the system of student self-government is bearing fruit. Every day, more and more new students join school councils with the desire to change something for the better, organize new events and promotions.
As one of the guys noted: “School self-government breaks the stereotype that “nothing depends on me.” We understand that together we are capable of much, and every child’s initiative can be heard.” Thanks to the joint efforts in schools, it was possible to organize, for example, a football tournament, help for homeless animals, and hold charity fairs, while the children used the proceeds to support participants in a special military operation.
Sergey Aksyonov specifically expressed gratitude for the attention that schoolchildren pay to the fighters participating in the SVO:
Our defenders greatly appreciate emotional support and kind words. It is important for them to know that they are worried about them, that people are waiting for them at home. It gives me strength. You are great for supporting them. Continue in the same spirit.
At the end of the meeting, the Head of Crimea reminded school presidents how important it is to love their families, respect mentors, and work for the good of the Motherland.
We must always remember our duty to parents and teachers, to each other and to the state. We need to organize ourselves, create new opportunities and build the future together, – concluded the Head of the Republic.
