The Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, held a working meeting with the President of the All-Russian public organization “Union of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) of Russia” Viktor Drozdov.

During the event, the prospects for the further development of mixed martial arts in Crimea were discussed, as well as the results of the past Championship and Championship of the Republic of Crimea in MMA. In addition, topical issues of popularizing this sport among young people were discussed.

Sergey Aksyonov specifically noted the coaching staff and their contribution to the development of sports in the republic.

The Head of the Republic emphasized the readiness of the authorities to continue to provide assistance to Crimean athletes. Sergei Aksyonov explained that we are primarily talking about purchasing the necessary sports equipment and assistance in organizing trips to various competitions.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Crimea Olga Torubarova, the President of the Regional Public Organization “Crimean Federation of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)” Vladimir Tsoi, representatives of the Union of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) of Russia, Crimean mixed martial arts coaches.
