Sergei Aksyonov reported to the President on the socio-economic situation in the Republic of Crimea

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, presented a report on the socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin via video link.

Opening the working meeting, Vladimir Putin highly appreciated the work of the government of the Republic and Sergei Aksyonov personally, noting the sustainable development of Crimea.

I see everything from the materials, from our constant personal contacts, how things are. Of course, as elsewhere, there are issues that require special attention. Nevertheless, the situation is stable and developing well. The economy is growing, construction is one of the engines of this economysaid the Head of State.

In his report, Sergei Aksyonov spoke about the socio-economic situation in the Republic of Crimea and the most important directions for the further development of the region:

I thank Vladimir Vladimirovich for his constant support of the Crimeans for 10 years in all areas. In addition, I express my gratitude to both the federal Government and all the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, who all these years have been helping our region develop, not in words but in deeds.

We continue to support SVO participants and their families. Social passports for the families of all military personnel have been generated; more than 10 thousand people have gone through the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation and government agencies with questions of varying complexity. Action has been taken on most of them.

Assistance is also provided to historical regions. We make payments of 10 thousand rubles to citizens who were forced to leave the territories of Ukraine, DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. More than 100 thousand people received such payments from the federal budget. Residents of the Kherson region — about 31 thousand people — received payments of 100 thousand rubles, and about 30 thousand people received approval for a housing certificate. 17 thousand people received about 60 billion rubles.

The head of Crimea specifically focused on working with the law enforcement bloc, issues of prevention and prevention of offenses related to the SVO. According to Aksenov, all sabotage groups that committed crimes during these years were detained in Crimea. The Head of the Republic thanked the employees of the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the prosecutor’s office, the Investigative Committee, the Russian Guard and all law enforcement agencies.

Over the past ten years, our gross national product has grown 3.7 times and amounted to 705 billion rubles. Own income increased from 18 billion to 103 billion rubles, that is, more than 5 times. In terms of economic growth rates, the Republic ranks third in the Russian Federation. Over these years, more than 900 billion rubles of private investment have been invested in the economy, and 90 thousand jobs have been created. The number of small and medium-sized businesses is growing; today 220 thousand entrepreneurs are registered, including 136 thousand self-employed.

The main drivers of the Crimean economy are the Federal Target Program adopted by decision of the President, the funding volume of which amounted to about 1 trillion. rubles for 10 years, and national projects. Thus, the volume of financing in all areas over four years amounted to 98 billion rubles, and the level of cash execution for federal targeted programs and national projects ranged from 98.5% to 99%.

In addition, as part of a large-scale program of regional cooperation between the Republic and the city of Moscow, social and economic infrastructure is actively developing. About 48 billion rubles have been allocated for road construction, landscaping, and healthcare. About 1 thousand new buses, 138 trolleybuses, and 22 trams were also purchased. Public areas are being modernized and improved, their number is more than a thousand,” Sergei Aksyonov told the President.

As for agriculture, according to the Head of Crimea, about 24 billion rubles were invested in the republican agricultural industry by the Russian Government. Viticulture and gardening are actively developing, over a thousand hectares of vineyards and gardens are planted annually (Crimea ranks third in the country in this indicator). Last year, the peninsula’s farmers harvested a record harvest of grain crops — about 2 million tons, which is twice as much as in 2014.

According to the gasification program, the implementation rate is 82.5%; according to additional gasification, 13.5 thousand technical connections were made. This year alone, 5 thousand connections to gas supply networks have already been completed.

We managed to completely eliminate the queue for kindergartens thanks to the construction of 163 new facilities. 9 new schools were also put into operation. Another 12 schools are under construction. There are plans to coordinate the construction of 10 more general education institutions, which will allow us to resolve the issue of teaching during the second shift almost in full.

There are 2 thousand healthcare facilities in Crimea. More than 900 institutions were fully or partially renovated, 273 first aid stations and outpatient clinics were built, and 46 new ambulance substations were built. More than 200 ambulances were received. That is, we have almost completely “re-equipped” medicine in all respectsAksyonov reported.

According to the Head of the Republic of Crimea, Crimea has received 61 million tourists over 10 years. In the tourism sector, however, a number of problems remain that arose as a result of the disaster in November 2023. On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated 5.1 billion rubles for the restoration of bank protection structures. In total, the restoration program includes 69 such structures throughout the Republic. It is planned to implement this program in 2.5 years.

Crimea also managed to rise in the ranking of Russian regions in terms of quality of life from 76th place in 2014 to 45th (according to the latest data).

There is a problematic issue that requires your support. Together with the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, we have prepared a corresponding appeal regarding the extension until 2030 of a special simplified procurement and bidding procedure for Crimea and Sevastopol,” Aksyonov addressed the Head of State.

He also dwelled on the topic of the upcoming elections for the post of Head of the Republic of Crimea this fall. Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that Crimeans will support the candidacy of Sergei Aksenov.

Concluding the working meeting, the President of the Russian Federation noted the successful development of the economy and social sphere of the Republic as a whole and outlined the main directions for further work.

There are problems of a global nature that need to be solved together — ecology, water disposal, cleaning, the housing and communal services system, something that still needs to be worked on separately, as well as the healthcare systemnoted Vladimir Putin.
