Sergei Aksyonov: “The unity of our citizens helps Russia develop and prosper”
The Head of the Republic of Crimea awarded workers from various industries with well-deserved awards on the eve of National Unity Day. Sergei Aksyonov congratulated those present on the holiday and reminded that National Unity Day is one of the most significant holidays in Russia.
Any difficult period in our country was always preceded by internal conflicts and disputes; there were always those who prevented us from creating a united front. Nevertheless, every time, in defiance of the enemy, we united and won. In 2014, our unity helped us overcome all difficulties and return to our historical homeland. And now, when the West seeks to divide and destroy us, the citizens of our great country need to unite and consolidate their efforts, – the press service quotes the Head of the Republic.
Sergei Aksyonov also expressed confidence that Crimeans support President Vladimir Putin and military personnel who carry out combat missions with courage and honor.
This position must be maintained, because only thanks to this our country will continue the path of development and prosperity. Russian Crimea will have a happy fate under the peaceful skies of our homeland, thanks in part to those who with their work help us move forward– emphasizes the Head of Crimea.
Then the Head of the Republic presented the well-deserved awards: the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree, the honorary title of the Russian Federation “Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation”, the Certificate of Honor of the President of the Russian Federation, the Gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation, the title “Honored Worker of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Russia”, medals “For Valiant Labor”, medals “For Defense of the Republic of Crimea”, Certificates of Honor from the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, Gratitude from the Head of the Republic of Crimea, insignia “Watch from the Head of the Republic of Crimea”.
Also, as part of the event, Sergei Aksyonov presented the first passports of citizens of the Russian Federation to 14-year-old residents of the republic. Addressing the younger generation of Crimeans, the Head of the Republic noted that the children should be proud of the fact that they are citizens of the Russian Federation.
A passport is a new page in your life, a step into adulthood. Don’t be afraid of difficulties, don’t be afraid to take responsibility. Love your parents and your Motherland, and everything will work out for you, says the Head of Crimea.
