Sergey Aksenov congratulated the pilots of Russia on the Air Force Day — «bring victory closer»

Our pilots solve complex and large -scale combat missions, inflict crushing blows to the enemy on the front and in the rear, show high professionalism, courage and heroism, bring victory closer, -Aksenov wrote in his Telegram channel.

He emphasized that the history of the Air Force continues to be created today not only on its fronts, but also “in the design bureau, at enterprises that produce the best planes in the world, in educational institutions where pilots and high -class specialists serving modern aviation technology.”

The head of the Crimea congratulated the personnel, veterans of the Air Force and everyone who is associated with military aircraft, with a professional holiday, wishing “good health, prosperity, pure sky and new successes in the service of the Fatherland”, the pride and strength of which, according to him, are the air forces of Russia.

Earlier on this day, Minister of Defense Andrei Belousov, congratulating military personnel and veterans on the 113th anniversary of the Air Force, reportedthat during the special military operation, 33 military personnel of the flight personnel of the Air Force of the Russian Federation were awarded the highest award-the title of Hero of the Russian Federation.

The Day of the Air Force of Russia is celebrated annually on August 12 in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 549 of May 31, 2006 «On the establishment of professional holidays and commemorative days in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation». Air Force Aviation includes long-term, front-line, military transport and army aviation, which, in turn, have bomber, assault, fighter, intelligence, transport and special aircraft.
