Sergey Aksenov discussed with the rector of KIPU Chingiz Yakubov the issues of training engineering personnel

The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, held a working meeting with the rector of the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University (KIPU) named after Fevzi Yakubov” Chingiz Yakubov.

Sergei Aksyonov noted that the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University is one of the leading universities in the republic, where about 5 thousand young personnel study in pedagogical and engineering specialties.

It has accumulated extensive experience in applied research and interaction with the real sector of the economy. Some university developments are also used in the special operation zone,” Aksyonov emphasized.

The head of Crimea announced the formation of an action plan within the framework of interaction between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea and KIPU, including in terms of presenting new approaches to the implementation of educational programs of the university.

We need to explore new formats in order to start applying the best practices in the next academic yearsaid the Head of the Republic.

In turn, Chingiz Yakubov announced plans to hold a thematic scientific forum at the university to discuss the prospects for the development of engineering. It is planned to invite both Russian and foreign specialists.

Understanding of the importance of these issues on the part of the authorities of the republic inspires great optimism among the teaching staff of KIPU and all scientists of Crimeaadded the rector of the university.
