Sergey Aksyonov awarded Crimean teachers with well-deserved awards
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov took part in the event dedicated to the celebration of Teacher’s Day. The ceremonial meeting was held at the State Academic Musical Theater of the Republic of Crimea on the eve of the professional holiday.
In his welcoming speech, Sergei Aksyonov noted the importance of teachers for our country, since they are the ones who are involved in educating the future generation.
Now there is a battle for minds, and only teachers can help us win it. How they will perceive reality, taking into account today’s challenges and the amount of information, depends on whether the teacher finds an approach to children. We want our younger generation to grow up as true patriots, worthy citizens of our great country, who will do everything for it. I thank our teachers for their dedicated work, preserving our identity, and supporting the President and military personnel— said the Head of Crimea and wished the teachers health, prosperity and new successes.
Sergei Aksyonov also added that in our time all professions are important, but without teachers it is impossible to educate good specialists.
Increasing the prestige of teaching work is a priority task of the authorities. In Crimea, measures are in place to support teachers, and the education infrastructure is being updated. We will continue to work in this direction— emphasized the Head of the Republic.
Aksyonov presented the Crimean teachers with well-deserved awards: the medal “For Valorous Labor”, Certificates of Honor from the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, Gratitude from the Head of the Republic of Crimea, insignia “Watches from the Head of the Republic of Crimea”, as well as certificates for receiving monetary rewards to the winners of the competition for awarding prizes to the best teachers for achievements in teaching activities in 2023.
Speaking to journalists, Sergei Aksyonov said that active work on recruiting teaching staff continues in Crimea.
Directors are personally involved in filling vacancies, especially since it often depends on the manager whether a specialist will go to work in a particular institution. We have excellent specialists with unique experience, some of whom are today helping their colleagues from new regions switch to the Russian education system,” noted the Head of the Republic of Crimea.
