Sergey Aksyonov: “By the end of the day, the situation with water supply in Evpatoria should be stabilized”

According to information from the General Director of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Water of Crimea» Maxim Novik, on the morning of May 22, employees of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Water of Crimea» carried out work to fill reservoirs and turn on pumping stations, and began supplying water to apartment buildings.

At the same time, as Sergei Aksyonov noted, the supply of drinking water will continue until its quality stabilizes; 27 units of equipment are working for this purpose.

The head of the republic also said that the reason for the rupture of the water pipeline was repair work carried out in connection with the construction of a new line on the main pipeline section. Once 21 km of the new water pipeline is replaced, the problem with water outages in the city will disappear. The work is progressing according to schedule, the completion date is December of this year.
