In the lobby of the State Academic Musical Theater of the Republic of Crimea, the orchestra of the military unit 6914 of the National Guard of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol met guests with songs of the war years.

Welcoming the participants and spectators of the gala concert, Sergey Aksyonov emphasized the invariable significance of the events like the competition “We are the heirs of victory!”. According to the head of the republic, the contestants receive an incredible charge of emotions, talking about their family and friends, about their military and labor exploits. And the guys have the opportunity to give a particle of their soul to the defenders of the Motherland, who fulfill their military duty today.

This is an important cultural and patriotic project that gives each contestant an opportunity for self -realization and creativity. But the most important thing — it allows children to join the great past of our country, to its history, to the military exploits of grandfathers and great -grandfathers. Now the words about the connection of times and generations have a special meaning. Very soon, we will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. We know how much a victory was worth. We know that our soldier in the battlefields decided the fate of the country and the whole world. Our people survived in this difficult struggle and defeated the enemy. Now our warriors are fighting again for the future. They show courage and heroism worthy of great ancestors— said the head of Crimea.

Sergei Aksyonov expressed separate gratitude to participants from historical regions.

Once again, I would like to say the words of support and admiration for the children-competitions and their teachers from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions. You endure hardships on a par with military personnel. Your resistance and civil position cause only respect. Today you are at the tip of the Russian world. Always remember that together we will definitely stand in any conditions, we will overcome everything and will only move forward. Long live Russia! — said the head of the republic.

In conclusion, Sergey Aksyonov thanked the organizers and all those involved in the event, and also congratulated those present on the upcoming holiday — Victory Day.

In turn, the chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov emphasized that the competition «We are the heirs of Victory!» He became a wonderful form of patriotic education of youth.

This is part of the work that we conduct in the Crimea according to spiritual, moral and patriotic education, to preserve the memory of our great ancestors, and it gives the results— said the chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea.

On behalf of the organizers, the guests of the gala concert was also addressed by the chairman of the Supervision Council of the Interregional Public Organization of Russian Unity, Chairman of the Organizational Committee of the Creative Competition “We are the heirs of Victory!” Elena Aksyonova.

Among other things, during the concert, the memory of military correspondents who died at the front was honored.

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya, Minister of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea Valentina Lavrik, representatives of the clergy and the public, others.

The annual creative contest «We are the heirs of Victory!» It is carried out by the interregional public organization “Russian Unity” with the assistance of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea and the State Committee of Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea. The purpose of the event is to form and develop a sense of patriotism in the younger generation through respect for the historical past of their Fatherland through musical and artistic realization. In 2025, students of general educational and professional educational organizations of the Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions took part in the competition. More than 10 thousand people take part in the event annually.
