For Crimea, an important priority remains the strengthening of connections between the republic and the regions of Belarus. This was stated by the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov in a congratulation on the day of the unity of the peoples of Russia and Belarus.
Today, our countries develop cooperation and deepen integration within the framework of the Union State in all areas, including defense, security, migration policy. For Crimea, an important priority remains further strengthening of ties, including economic, between our republic and the regions of Belarus, — He wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to Aksenov, today three full -format agreements with the Vitebsk region are being implemented, the products of Crimean exporters are actively delivered to Belarus.
He also noted the enormous potential for cooperation between Crimea and Belarus in industry and agriculture, the sphere of resorts and tourism.
I want to especially note the activities of the Belarusian community of Crimea, which makes a significant contribution to the development of our region— added Sergey Aksenov. — In 2014, Belarusians, together with representatives of all peoples of the peninsula, opposed the coup in Kyiv, for reunification with Russia. And today we are building our Russian Crimea together.
On April 2, the day of the unity of the peoples of Russia and Belarus is celebrated. On this day in 1996, the presidents of the two states signed the Treaty “On the Education of the Community of Russia and Belarus”.
