Renat Karchaa — political strategist, Abkhazian and Russian statesman, adviser to the general director of the Rosenergoatom concern.

Born in 1966 in Ufa. He spent his childhood and youth in Sukhumi. In 1990, he graduated with honors from the biological and geographical faculty of Abkhaz State University, in 1996 he defended his dissertation at the Russian Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation, becoming a candidate of sociological sciences.
