Sergey Aksyonov: “In municipalities where power supply is not restored by the evening of November 30, an internal investigation will be conducted”

The Head of the Republic of Crimea, during a meeting of the operational headquarters for eliminating the consequences of bad weather, emphasized that the priority task for today remains the restoration of power supply to consumers. Sergei Aksyonov focused on the fact that a number of heads of administrations of municipalities and settlements have closed the opportunity to leave comments on their pages on social networks, which is unacceptable.

In conditions when people should be provided with maximum help and support, they do not even have the opportunity to send an appeal to the heads of municipal administrations and village councils. It shouldn’t be this way. Everyone should have posts and comments open on social media pages. In addition, you need to understand the fact that it is sometimes impossible to reach hotlines and get feedback. People don’t even understand whether their application has been accepted or not. It is necessary to determine how many additional people need to be involved in order to establish the operation of hotlines, – said the Head of Crimea.

The head of the republic instructed to complete the restoration of power supply by the end of today. “Heads of administrations should be in problem areas and personally manage the process. It is necessary to mobilize all forces and transfer brigades from other municipalities to critical areas. Where the work is not completed by this evening, an official investigation will be carried out against the heads of the municipality and regional branches of Krymenergo,” the Head of the Republic emphasized.

Sergei Aksyonov also noted that work to restore damaged and destroyed roofs requires intensification. “A number of administrations have still not coped with this task. The weather does not allow this process to be delayed. Crimeans expect quick and effective decisions and actions of local authorities,” said the Head of Crimea.
