Sergey Aksyonov: «In the Republic of Crimea, the value of the quality index of the urban environment has increased»

The achieved indicator of 19 points is more planned and 27 points more than last year. And when compared with 2019, the index rose by 35 %. For comparison: on average in Russia, this indicator is 220 points— notes the head of Crimea.
Sergei Aksyonov recalled that the urban environmental quality index is a comprehensive indicator that takes into account the improvement of the region, the availability of infrastructure, the state of ecology, the effectiveness of municipal management and many other indicators.
So, in the republic the number of cities with a favorable environment increased.
If in 2023 there were 10 of them, then according to the results of the last year-already 13 out of 16. This is Alupka, Alushta, Armenian, Bakhchisaray, Evpatoria, Kerch, Krasnoperekopsk, Saki, Simferopol, Sudak, Feodosia, Shchelkino, Yalta. Improving the quality of the urban environment was the result of the implementation of a set of measures — from the implementation of landscaping projects to the modernization of communal infrastructure— said the head of Crimea.
Sergei Aksyonov noted that there are a lot of problems in the urban environment, the front of the work is large. The authorities will continue to solve them systemically, sequentially and taking into account the opinions of Crimeans.
