Sergey Aksyonov: It is important to save and convey to future generations the memory of the military exploits of the defenders of the Fatherland

It is very important to save and convey to our children, all future generations the memory of military exploits of all our defenders. Those who gave their lives for his homeland selflessly and courageously fought for the national interests of the state, heroically fought for the world in which we live today. This is our main task— said the head of Crimea.

Sergei Aksyonov emphasized that the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to maintain historical heritage in the Republic of Crimea, as well as to put in order the Victory Day of all memorials and military graves are fully fulfilled.

Thanks to representatives of the authorities, social activists, businessmen, all caring people. These are real patriots who know and love Crimean history, military history of Russia. In turn, the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Military Historical Society, Deputy Head of the Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation for Public Projects Nikolai Ovsienko noted the active work of the regional branch of the RVIO in the Republic of Crimea, focusing his close interaction with the Government of the Republic of Crimea:

Huge work in the republic is done to preserve historical memory. It is symbolic that we meet on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, in the year of the defender of the Fatherland.

The chairman of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea for patriotic education and youth policy, Vladimir Bobkov made a report on the intermediate results and activities of the regional branch of the RVIO in the Republic of Crimea.

The participants in the event paid attention to the issues of posting memorable boards about the heroes of the Great Patriotic War on the buildings of schools, the preservation of memorials, monuments and places of burial of soldiers, the search movement to perpetuate the memory of the dead in the protection of the Fatherland in the municipal regions of the Republic of Crimea, and others.
