The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, delivered a welcoming speech, opening the Day of the Republic of Crimea at the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” at VDNKh in Moscow.

Sergey Aksyonov addressed the guests of the exhibition-forum and noted that Crimea is happy to show its achievements, share its experience and cordiality:

The main idea presented at our stand and which we strive to implement is that Crimea is a territory of hospitality. We are always glad to see everyone in the republic, both our fellow citizens and guests from abroad. The Republic of Crimea is the pearl of Russia, a dynamically developing region, the main value of which is our interethnic harmony and hardworking people, always ready to lend a shoulder to the President and the Armed Forces, our entire country.

As Sergei Aksyonov noted, despite the fact that Crimea today is practically a front-line region, Crimeans carry out all assigned tasks with honor and dignity.

Our people are results-oriented. We have become a beacon for other regions, those historical lands that, like us, returned home to Russia,” the Head of the Republic of Crimea emphasized and wished prosperity to Russia and the Russian Crimea.

Sergey Aksyonov invited the exhibition guests to visit both the Crimean stand and the Republic itself.

The Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov, also delivered a welcoming speech.

A rich and varied program has been prepared for visitors to the exhibition at the Crimean stand: a virtual excursion to an ice cream factory, a themed art zone “Breathe Crimea” with tasting of Crimean flavors, master classes, voucher giveaways, a cinema hall and speeches by Tavrida.Art residents, a reception with a balneologist. , a work of “living sculptures”.

The international exhibition and forum “Russia” is held on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to demonstrate the most important achievements of our country in various sectors of the economy. The exhibition-forum is taking place in Moscow at VDNKh from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. 89 regions, 22 federal executive authorities, 20 companies, corporations and public organizations are taking part in the exhibition-forum. A total of 131 expositions are presented.
