Sergey Aksyonov: “Payments of subsidies to subjects of the tourism industry of Crimea have been completed”

The Head of the Republic of Crimea announced the completion of the payment of subsidies to subjects of the tourism industry of Crimea at the rate of 4 minimum wages for each employee. Sergei Aksyonov clarified that the total amount of payments amounted to 2.1 billion rubles, more than 2.7 thousand legal entities and individual entrepreneurs received them.
Applications were accepted by the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic from enterprises in the sanatorium and hotel sector, children’s health camps, chain hotels, excursion companies, as well as enterprises in the sphere of transport, catering, souvenir trade, car rental, etc.
The Head of Crimea recalled that this measure is being implemented on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation and with the direct participation of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea.
The payments are aimed at supporting the resort industry and related industries that have worked for the next season under geopolitical and sanctions pressure, the press service quotes the Head of the Republic.
According to Sergei Aksenov, this allows us to preserve workforces and ensure the viability of enterprises.
