Sergey Aksyonov: “People complain about poor-quality medical care, rudeness and inattentiveness of doctors”

The Head of the Republic of Crimea said that an analysis of the work with citizens’ appeals on issues related to the provision of medical care will be carried out weekly at working meetings with the leadership of Crimean healthcare institutions. During a meeting on the quality of healthcare services in the republic, Sergei Aksyonov pointed out numerous complaints from Crimeans sent to his pages on social networks.
Over the past three months alone, more than 450 requests have been received. People complain about poor quality medical care, boorish attitude and inattention of doctors towards patients. This problem requires an immediate solution. Together with the chief doctors, we will review all requests once a week. I take personal control of the situation,” the Head of Crimea emphasized.
Thus, Sergey Aksyonov listed a number of healthcare institutions to which the largest number of complaints are recorded: GBUZ RK “Simferopol Central Regional Clinical Hospital”, GBUZ RK “Republican Clinical Hospital named after. ON THE. Semashko», GBUZ RK «Dzhankoy Central District Hospital», GBUZ RK «Simferopol Clinical Hospital», GBUZ RK «Republican Children’s Clinical Hospital».
The head of the republic emphasized the importance of personal participation of the management of medical organizations in solving problems that arise for citizens.
Repeated requests on the same issues should not appear at all; an appropriate response should be given to each of them. I would like to note that, as always, most of the problems are exclusively subjective in nature and relate to the not entirely competent organization of work in a particular institutionsaid the Head of Crimea.
In addition, the issue of providing Crimeans with preferential medications was raised at the event. According to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea, Konstantin Skorupsky, there is currently a positive trend in this situation in the republic.
Intensified work is being carried out on the acceptance control of incoming drugs and their distribution, in the warehouse and in logistics. There are occasional cases of shortage of some rare drug, but in general the situation in Crimea is leveling out. To date, more than 130 types of medicines have been imported into the republic.,” said the Minister of Health.
Konstantin Skorupsky also added that together with the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea “Crimea-Pharmacia” the issue of prompt delivery of drugs to pharmacies is being worked out.
Sergei Aksyonov recalled that the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea should remove from the agenda the problem associated with the untimely provision of preferential medicines to Crimeans (primarily insulin and drugs for cancer patients) until May 15.
In addition, the Head of Crimea set the task, within two weeks, to formulate proposals for further modernization of medical institutions for inclusion in the new national project “Family”.
As explained by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya, the new national project, which is currently being developed by the Government of the Russian Federation, will, among other things, include measures to modernize children’s clinics and hospitals, perinatal centers, antenatal clinics, reception rooms.
We already have a list of such organizations for cities and regions of Crimea. It is necessary to begin preparing design and estimate documentation so that we have time to include all objects in this national projectsaid the Deputy Prime Minister, noting that other primary care medical organizations will also not be left without attention.
Additionally, Sergei Aksyonov instructed to prepare final proposals for the overhaul of medical institutions, providing them with the necessary equipment and other issues.
We must understand which institutions require federal assistance in order to approach the Russian Government with specific proposals. All documentation must be prepared as soon as possible“, concluded the Head of the Republic.
